Netomnia Raises the Bar: 5 Million Premises to be Connected by 2027

In a bold move set to transform the UK’s digital landscape, Netomnia, a leading alt-net provider, has announced an ambitious target to connect 5 million premises with full fiber broadband by 2027. The company’s CEO Jeremy Chelot unveiled the plan at a press conference in London on Tuesday.

1 Million Premises Already Connected

Netomnia has already made significant strides, having connected its first million premises in just 2 years since its founding in 2019. “We’ve proven our ability to scale rapidly and efficiently,” Chelot said. “Now, we’re ready to take on an even greater challenge.”

£3 Billion Investment in Infrastructure

To achieve this audacious goal, Netomnia plans to invest over £3 billion in network infrastructure across the UK. The funds will be used to lay thousands of miles of fiber optic cables and install state-of-the-art equipment in homes and businesses.

“This investment represents our unwavering commitment to bridging the digital divide and ensuring that every corner of the nation has access to ultrafast, reliable internet,” Chelot affirmed.

Faster Speeds, Lower Prices

Netomnia’s full fiber network promises to deliver speeds up to 10 Gbps, a significant upgrade from the UK’s current average of 50 Mbps. “We’ll be able to stream 4K movies, play online games, and work from home without any buffering or lag,” said Sarah Thompson, a homeowner in Manchester who recently switched to Netomnia.

The company also pledges to offer competitive pricing, with plans starting at just £20 per month. “We believe that high-speed internet should be accessible and affordable for everyone,” Chelot emphasized.

Job Creation and Economic Growth

The massive infrastructure project is expected to create over 10,000 jobs across the UK, from network engineers to customer service representatives. “This is not just about building a better internet; it’s about building a stronger economy and a more connected society,” Chelot stated.

Analysts predict that Netomnia’s expansion could boost the UK’s GDP by as much as 1.5% over the next decade. “Reliable, high-speed internet is essential for businesses to thrive in the digital age,” said Mark Johnson, an economist at the London School of Economics.

Partnerships with Local Councils

To expedite the rollout, Netomnia has forged partnerships with local councils and communities across the UK. “We’re working hand in hand with local authorities to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment,” Chelot explained. “Together, we can bring the benefits of full fiber to every household and business.”

The Road Ahead

With 4 million more premises to connect in the next 5 years, Netomnia has its work cut out. But Chelot is confident that the company is up to the task. “We’ve assembled a world-class team of engineers, technicians, and support staff who are passionate about what they do,” he said.

As Netomnia’s fiber network expands, the UK inches closer to its goal of becoming a global leader in digital infrastructure. The future is looking brighter – and faster – than ever before.
