Broadband Provider

Complaints

We take complaints about our content, our conduct or our advertising seriously. This page explains how to raise one and what to expect.

What this covers

This procedure covers complaints about editorial content on broadbandprovider.co.uk, adherence to our editorial policy, or the conduct of our team. It does not cover problems with your broadband service, those need to go to your provider, and ultimately to Ombudsman Services: Communications or CISAS.

Step 1, Contact us

Email complaints@broadbandprovider.co.uk with:

  • Your name and preferred contact email.
  • The article URL(s) or issue in question.
  • What you'd like us to do about it.

We'll acknowledge your email within 3 working days and respond in full within 15 working days. Complex complaints may take longer, we'll tell you if so.

Step 2, Escalation

If you're not satisfied with our first response, reply and ask for the complaint to be escalated to the editor. The editor will review and respond within a further 15 working days.

Advertising complaints

Complaints about advertising on the site can also be raised with the Advertising Standards Authority.

Data-protection complaints

Complaints about how we handle personal data should go to privacy@broadbandprovider.co.uk in the first instance. You always have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
